LCAGO Programs for 2017-2018

Listed below are the chapter's sponsored programs. Click here for other events of interest around the area.

The Beauty of the Beast

October 14, 2:30 pm

In cooperation with Leek Pipe Organ Company and Bay Presbyterian Church, LCAGO is holding this introduction to the organ for special needs children. It will be an interactive program that allows children to experience the sounds and inner workings of the pipe organ in a welcoming environment. AGO members are welcome to attend, although this event is intended primarily for the children and their families. This type of service event is something the LCAGO has not done recently, and the executive committee is excited for the opportunity!

Matteo Imbruno, Organ Recital

October 25, 8:00 pm

Mr. Imbruno is the resident organist of the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam (Sweelinck's church) and director of the Pistoia Organ Academy. He will be playing a free recital on the Flentrop in Warner Concert Hall. LCAGO members will meet before the concert to eat dinner together (restaurant TBD). If you are interested in the meal, please RSVP to Brian.
